Practical Tips When Moving to a Different Country

Moving to a different country can be quite scary. The ideas included in this piece of writing helped me when I moved from Germany to England so hopefully, they’ll help you as well.
Be polite. This is a very obvious statement to make but you can never be too polite – especially when living in a different country.
Learn the lingo before you move. Living in a different country is hard enough so make sure you learn the language BEFORE you move.
Be prepared for the ‘culture shock’. The culture of your new country might be very similar to the culture of your original country but no two countries are the same so be prepared for those differences.
Make friends. Start making friends as soon as you arrive in the new country to avoid feeling lonely and homesick.
