Are you a business traveler? Here are some handy travel tips to help you enjoy your business travel.

Many may envy business traveler as they get to travel with the company expense. But believe me, its not that enjoyable. If you think that all business travelers fly first class, stay in luxurious hotels, get around in cool car, then am so sorry. All business travelers are not that fortunate to enjoy all those facilities and service. Business traveler is one of the toughest kinds of travel. You have to take hour’s long flight, spend all day in conference and meeting rooms, limited budget, flight delays, sometimes take multiple flights to reach your destinations, occasional missing baggage and so on.

If you are a business traveler, here are some handy tips that will help your business travel more hassle free:

  1. No matter what, booking your travel plans in advance is highly recommended. This way you not only get to save your hard earned money but you will also have options. Please avoid booking the last flight to the destination you will be traveling.
  2. If you have purchased your travel plans online, always print the confirmation email that you will be receiving while purchasing your travel plans. Do keep those print out in handy.
  3. Pack as light as you can. Carry a bag, big enough to hold a change of clothes, your laptop, charger and phone. Please carry a pen and some paper, as if something goes wrong with your laptop, you can always note down. Please don’t carry all your valuables in the same place.
  4. Do reach the airport at least an hour prior to your scheduled departure. Don’t board your flight empty stomach. Drink lots of water. Try to get as much as sleep as you can. If you co-passenger is among those who can’t stop telling chatting, put a blind fold and cover your head with a blanket.
  5. On board avoid alcohol. As we all know its really tough to stop drinking once you start and it won’t be wise if you attend you meeting drunk. If you are taking an overnight flight, you make enjoy a drink or two just before hitting the sack. But please don’t consume more or else you will have a bad hangover
