by Deepsehgal on October 9, 2009 in United Kingdom

Simla, The Queen of Hills
by Ashis on May 6, 2009 in India

If we want to describe the par excellence of Simla in a nutshell, we have to explain it in terms of Pine Forests and apple orchards, crisp, clean air and breathtaking views. It is the largest hill and was the summer capital of the British India. The town sprawled over 12 km on a crescent shaped ridge in descending layers from the top. Spreading over several hills like the Jakhu, Prospect Hill, Observatory Hill, Elysium Hill and Summer Hill, the town covers 2,213 meters.
