We retired in 2002, paid off our mortgage, bought a motor home and hit the road. I am 71 and my wife is 73 years of age and we are still going strong. We wanted to see the 48 contiguous states and we accomplished that goal before the price of gas climbed to $4.00 per gallon. This is a recap of our experience and trials.
