This is a list of some fun places for your child to enjoy their birthday!
If you are thinking of places to have a child’s birthday party in Huntsville, AL, and don’t want the usual fast food restaurant or tearing-up-your-home options, you do have more choices. Look into some other places that offer fun and a little extra for about the same prices!
Sci-Quest – Located in Cummings Research Park, Sci-Quest is an educational treat for all ages. Inside a center of science and technology, its interactive science exhibits are appropriate and fun for the whole family. Kids can create a dam or tornado, make music, as well as a pretend meal, inside a house, or even help a man burp after he drinks a soda! There are three birthday packages available, from $150.00 to $225.00, depending on how much you want to invest. All packages include a party room for one and a half hours, party invitations, paper and plastic products, your drinks and birthday candles, goodie bags for guests, and a special birthday gift for the guest of honor. A member of the staff will host your party and assist with activities. Sci-Quest also has a gift registry for items in the Science Shop. The amount of your deposit will depend on what package you chose. Sci-Quest is one of the best places in Huntsville, AL to have a child’s birthday party!
US Space and Rocket Center – Ever wondered how it feels to blast off into space? Feel the need to climb the mountains of Mars? The US Space and Rocket Center lets you do it all! Situated in the Davidson Center for Space Exploration, this is the place for those whose dream is to touch the stars. Two packages are available for purchase, costing around $125.00 or $225.00, depending on your preferences. Both party packages include admission to the Space and Rocket Center, a birthday cake, drinks, and paper products. Early Works Children’s History Museum – At the largest hands-on educational children’s museum in the South, children can dress up as like the colonials, play a proprietor in an old time store, put on a puppet show, and “live” in a Federal style house – all in one day! About ten dollars a child, for up to ten children, the Early works museum offers you emailed party invitations, admission inside the museum, party favors, and a party space that is geared toward certain age levels. Kids 6 and under have a picnic party, and get to play in Biscuit’s Backyard. As a birthday treat for kids over 6, there is a party inside a real caboose, and a cool trolley ride. Put down your fifty dollar deposit and reserve your space!
Municipal Ice Complex – What child doesn’t like to skate? Three packages are available for your birthday party needs. Prices start at $119.00 and go up to $274.00. Pottery By You - If your child is an artist, and likes to play with paint, but you hesitate to let them do it at home, book your party at this hands on pottery boutique, located on 114 Hughes Road. Packages for all the little guests include paint, utensils, and an item of their choice to decorate and keep. The items have to be baked, so that they set, and given a nice shine, and take about a week to be returned to the guests of the party. The cost is $17.00 per child, with an eight guest minimum. Keep in mind; you must bring your own cake and party supplies. But the experience is unique, and fun, too!
There is a Chuck E. Cheese’s in Huntsville, which is famous for offering birthday parties for kids, and you can always book a party for your child at the usual McDonalds or Pizza Hut. But if you want to offer your child a bit more, try one of these other places for a change!
