Have you ever been to Lake Louise, Alberta, Canada? If you haven’t you are missing an experience of a life time and if you have you’ll know exactly what I’m talking about when I say it has got to be one of the most beautiful places on God’s green earth. The lake itself leaves you with an inner peace that you will feel deep in your soul. The majestic Rocky Mountains that surround it are an added bonus for those that make this a vacation destination. This place left us with unforgettable memories and so much more.

There are many things to see at Lake Louise although if you’re looking for nightlife this is not the place for you but if you’re looking for wildlife then you’ve hit the jackpot. From mountain goats to the awesome Grizzly and everything in between, you are surrounded by wildlife and wilderness. It is an awesome sight to see a grizzly up close, well maybe not that close but as close as you want to be. This photo is not the best but I’m sure you can understand why.

We were there in the summer months but winter offers another experience that would be an unforgettable experience in a winter wonderland where the mountains are dotted with skiers. We saw beautiful chalets hidden in thick forest, rustic cabins that took you back in time but we choose to stay at the Fairmount Chateau which is right on the lake. Sorry i don’t have a picture of the Chateau but it is beautiful in itself.

There is too much to put in this article on Lake Louise but I know that anyone that enters this great place will leave astounded at what they have seen. Its nature at her finest and at this lake she shows just what she can do. It will be a once in a lifetime experience for you as it was for us.
