One of the most popular tourist attractions would be the Grand Canyon. This would be a great place to visit because of its beauty and its historical value. This shows thousands of years of erosion of rock from the Colorado River. Another great place to visit in Arizona is the Hoover dam.  This is more than seven hundred twenty six feet above the Colorado River. This amazing dam provides irrigation, electricity, and fresh water to California and Arizona. This which is one of the most incredible of all of the historical natural monuments is the Petrified Forest. This is thousand year old trees that have turned to stone. These once just trees are now beautiful stone. The Painted Dessert is truly amazing. This is thousands and thousands of years of erosion and weathering of rock that has so much sedimentary that it is actually colorful. These are all places you should visit if you go to the wonderful state of Arizona.
