Located in Arizona is a vast space full of history and beauty.
Located right here in North America, west of the Mississippi River; is one of the most amazing sites for the eye to behold. As you look deep into the Canyon there lies years of history, which information ranging back as far as fifteen million years. From the highest peak of 9,000 feet above sea level, you are able to see the many slops and gorges which lay within this deep crevice made by the Colorado River.
The Colorado River deep down at the bottom of the canyon rolls along over its and through the base of the 217 crevice which can be as small as 4 miles wide, while it widest is 18 miles. Getting down there is an awesome adventure whether you choose Winter, Summer, Spring or the Autumn season, during the winter a the base of the canyon you can stand on the ice at the most north rim. The summer time is really a very hot time to go hiking into the Grand Canyon since it is very hot; Arizona is one of the hottest States during the summer months. Probably the Autumn or Spring time would be best, but it is wise to bring along a guide, there are stories of people who have gotten lost in the Canyon, some found a live, some not so lucky, while others are still wonder through the vastness of the Canyon.

During the mid winter as your stand at the northern rim, you get to look into the Canyon and see not only the layers of stone that has been weathered to reveal stories of their own, but to look deep down at subtropical vegetation, which seems to find it way through the rocks.

The Grand Canyon is a site for all to see; over 2 million people visit this natural phenomenon each year, since it is one of the most awesome natural landscapes in the world.
It is not every day that we are able to see from 5,000 feet about sea level, and yet to be able to look up or down through this huge crater of history, is truly a sight to be seen.

To be able to over look the canyon in early morning as the sun rises, must surely be an awesome sight!
