Fine Dining in Vancouver Bc: Three Places to Check Out

If you find yourself in Vancouver BC, check out these eateries in this article. They are interesting, romantic and fun.

Anyone who has resided within or visited the beautiful city of Vancouver BC would be familiar with some of the amenities offered to couples, singles and daters alike.  There is something for everyone here, including four star restaurants, quaint cafes and everything in between.   Here are three fine dining restaurants which are an ideal place for a romantic interlude.  One is fun, hip and casual, and the other is formal dining with a spectacular three hundred and sixty degree view.

Vancouver’s greatest known chef is Rob Feenie, whose establishment focuses on world class casual cuisine.  Rob Feenie was propelled into legendary status after winning Food Network’s Iron Chef America competition.   Pitted against the all-powerful Iron Chef Masaharu Morimoto in Battle Crab, Rob Feenie took the prize for the night.

He recently joined the well known dining establishment called “The Cactus Club” which is an ideal place for fun loving daters to dine on fine cuisine, without the formal atmosphere.  The ambiance and fabulous food is reason enough to spark love between almost any new couple.  There are five Cactus Club restaurants in Vancouver BC alone.

Another excellent place for love to blossom is the lookout and restaurant at the Harbour Centre Tower.   This fine dining restaurant sits atop the most famous landmark in the city.  Known to be one of the few revolving restaurants in the city, “The Top of Vancouver” Revolving Restaurant boasts a fabulous 360 degree view of the city, and a thrilling ride up the side of the high rise via glass elevator.  Located at 555 Hastings Street West, it is a wonderful place to take in the sights of the city and enjoy formal dining at its finest.  The restaurant operates separately from the lookout and reservations should be made well in advance, especially during peak tourist months.  The menu includes such succulent West Coast treats such as Pacific Smoked Salmon and pasta treats like Lobster Tortelloni. To make reservations, call (604)669-2220.

Another wonderful restaurant which is located in Port Moody, BC is called “Joe’s The Atlantic Grill”.  Joe himself is quite visible in the restaurant, which is known for its relaxed, casual atmosphere.  On Fridays, amateur night is offered for musicians young and old to play music for its patrons, while Joe’s lobster stew is always the star, as Joe himself prepares his mother’s famous secret recipe.

These are only three restaurants in the Greater Vancouver area which are worth a try for couples both married and those on their very first date.
