Beautiful Waterfalls of Uvas Canyon California

Uvas Canyon County Park in California contains a number of pretty waterfalls in a very green and luscious environment that are easily accessible.

Uvas Canyon County Park is located in Santa Clara County south of San Jose and the Silicon Valley area of California and contains a number of lovely luscious green waterfalls most of which are located along a waterfall loop trail along Swanson Creek.

Black Rock Falls

Black Rock Falls drops a total of some 55 feet over three tiers and is easily the most impressive and beautiful of the Uvas Canyon waterfalls. It is located along a very short spur off the waterfall loop trail.

Basin Falls

Basin Falls drops some 20 feet along Swanson Creek. It is located near Upper Falls off the waterfall loop trail.

Granuja Falls

Granuja Falls is the smallest of the Uvas Canyon waterfalls but is still a pretty little fall and is the first waterfall you will see along the waterfall loop trail.

Triple Falls

Triple Falls drops some 35 feet in lovely fashion. It is the farthest waterfall in the park as you must hike a bit off the waterfall loop trail to see it but it’s worth the short hike except during dry spells.

Upper Falls

Upper Falls is the widest of the waterfalls in Uvas Canyon County Park and it drops about 25 feet. It is the 2nd waterfall you will see along the waterfall loop trail.

Uvas Falls

Uvas Falls drops some 25 feet along Swanson Creek near where it meets Uvas Creek along the Swanson Creek Trail.

To reach Uvas Canyon County Park from San Francisco, San Jose and the Silicon Valley area take Highway 101 south to the Baily Ave exit and go right on Baily Ave for about 3 miles until it ends at McKean Road. Turn left on McKean Road and go about 6 miles until you reach Croy Road where you turn right. Uvas Canyon County Park is on Croy Road about 4 miles in. You can get a trail pamphlet at the visitors center.
