A Castle by any Color

The many different colors of the castle at the Magic Kingdom, Walt Disney World.
Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida has always been a magical place. My favorite park is the Magic Kingdom.
On every trip I have ever taken Cinderella’s Castle which is the center piece of this enchanted world is different. You never know what you will see.
On a recent early Christmas trip I saw the castle in all it’s glory for the holidays. Webs of lights hung from every angle. It looked like icicles in the dark. But the most wonderful effect was the outstanding light show. These are ten of my favorite pictures taken by me at the Magic Kingdom, Orlando, Florida on December 8th, 2008.

The blue castle, my personal favorite.

A lovely mix of blue and green. See how the lights look like icicles.

A softly lit green castle. A winter wonderland.

Every little girls dream, a pink fairy castle.

A green version slowly changing to blue. It was a wonder to watch.

Where else but Disney could you see a castle of red and hot pink?

A blue castle with white stars.

I tried to catch a picture of the castle entirely white but just missed it. When it was white it looked like it was covered in powdered sugar.

Pink and orange a strange mix.

And finally a wonderful light purple castle.
I hope you have enjoyed my trip into the many different colors of the castle. It was a night of wonder for me as I for a brief moment in time I was ten years old again.
