If you are a motorcycle enthusiast, you cannot miss Biketoberfest and Bike Week in Daytona Beach. We have guests from all over the country as well as other countries. Every hotel will be booming as well as every restaurant packed and every bar in the city becomes party central. The display of bikes on the Main Street strip becomes a spectacle. The bikes, the tattoos, the outfits, the vendors lined up, it is the event for October every year. It starts October 15Th until the 18Th. If you can’t make Biketoberfest, you have a second chance to make Bike Week in March, that runs from the 1st until the 31st for 2010. You have motorcyclists from all walks of life here. It can be the office guy next to you that hangs up his suit and becomes a full fledged motorcyclist. Regardless what walk of life, they all blend and fit in. I took movies of my first bike week because I was so impressed. A word of caution is CAUTION, there are many accidents every year and a few deaths on this occasion. Please drink responsibly and watch out for the other guy. Regardless, Daytona Beach is the place to be. There are events scheduled throughout the occasion and plenty of restaurant and hot spots to eat. Don’t forget to visit the Beach and Ponce Inlet’s Lighthouse. If you visit The PonceDeLeon Lighthouse, you can climb to the top (203steps) and see the entire city and the spectacular ocean view. It is located on the beach side of the city, between the river and the ocean in Ponce Inlet. Daytona becomes a very busy place with all the roar of motorcycles and the business’s thrive at this time. So, if Daytona Beach is your destination, be safe and have the time of your life.
