Jungle Island

 Have you ever seen a liger (Hercules, the resident liger at Jungle Island is 900lbs and eats 20 lbs. of meat daily)?  What about red kangaroos, llamas, zebus, white tigers or the twin 2 year old orangutans, Peanut and Pumpkin?  Admire 1,100 exotic birds and 2,000 varieties of plants and flowers.  Visit the petting barn.  The Serpentarium houses giant reptiles, including the biggest crocodile in the US-Crocosaurus.

Miami Metro Zoo

 1,300 species of animals (from Asia, Africa, The Americas and Australia) live here in free range environments similar to their natural habitats.

Gator Park

Go deep in the Everglades, and you’ll see alligators, turtles, snakes, fish and exotic birds.  Take the famous Airboat Ride.

Everglades National Park

Take the 2 hour tram tour from Shark Valley Visitor Center and observe alligators, birds, and other wildlife or take the Bobcat Boardwalk, an easy ¼ mile trail that kids (of all ages) will enjoy walking.

Crandon Park Beach

Miami Children’s Museum

Miami Science Museum and Space Transit Planetarium

Amelia Earhart Park

Grapeland Water Park- Black Beard’s Beach

Monkey Jungle

Miami Dade County Fair and Exposition

Baggs Cape Florida State Park

Adventure Sports

Hot Air Balloon Ride!  It takes off at several different locations, and it floats for about an hour, at about 1,000-2,000 feet in the air.  You must be at least 7 years old or 48” tall to ride in the balloon.

Sea Grass Adventure
