Welcome to Miami

After reading an article on Hot Content on why not blog on your city, I decided to blog on mine.
Not a cloud in the sky. Walking down the boardwalk, I took off my flip flops. There’s nothing like walking barefoot through the white porcelain sand of sunny Miami, Beach, Florida. It is no reason why Miami is one of the best travel destinations for tourists throughout the United States. As a native of Miami, Florida, there’s nothing like a sun-washed beach vacation to calm the mind, body and soul.
While many oceanfront hotels in the heart of Miami Beach offer just a sliver of sand, Sunny Isles and Key Biscayne properties boast wider beaches. Two Key Biscayne State parks have plenty of sand as well: Bill Bag gs Cape Florida State Park, home to a 19th-century lighthouse, and Crandon Park Beach are two tropical and seclusive paradise where children and families gather to barbecue on those lazy days of summer. At Crandon Park Beach, there is also a skating rink, playground and amusement park for kids.
At Biscayne National Park, tourists can take one of the park’s glass-bottom boat tours to spot sea turtles, colorful fish, coral reefs and marine life. Snorkeling trips are also provided. Meanwhile, about 20 miles from Miami, you can experience Everglades National Park, a 1.5 million acre of subtropical wilderness intersected by watery channels. These rivers attract alligators, crocodiles, pelicans and manatees. It is important to wear a lot of insect repellant, sunblock and a hat. Also, make sure that you bring a few bottles of water in your bag so you don’t get dehydrated.
There are several popular attractions in Miami. At the Miami Metro Zoo, children and family can take a glimpse of the white Bengal Tiger, the Carri bean Flamingo, 300 exotic birds in the Aviary Wings of Asia Exhibit and the petting zoo. Another cool spot to visit is the Parrot Jungle. As a child, I enjoyed taking pictures next to all the colorful parrots, cockatoos and vibrant parakeets. Parrot Jungle has relocated off the Julia Tuttle Causeway right in front of the port of Miami. For those dolphin lovers like me, you will probably enjoy visiting the Miami Se aquarium and even swimming with a dolphin. Whale and dolphin shows are shown regularly. And for those museum lovers, there is the Miami Children’s Museum, aimed for children and pre-schoolers, and the Miami Museum of Science and Planetarium where children get the opportunity to learn about the solar system, planets and galaxies. There are also laser light shows once a month on Fridays.
Now that I have taken you on a tour of Miami, what are you waiting for? I sure want to meet all of my Triond fans and friends. Next time you are planning a vacation, why not stop in Miami. I am sure you won’t regret it.

excellent eh! in advance….
See, deep in the blue
Has asked of you
To thank me
For the donation
We give including me.
So here I am
At my best
Like a fairy
Flying free
With nothing on
Can anyone not see?
Or they all want to close
Their eyes and
Yet keep running after me,
I am in my birthday suit
That any blind man can see
And blind women too
Would like to woo
This lovely, lively fairy
Of Miami
Is it you or me?
Miami, Miami, Miami,
Oh my it’s, mea me.
