A trip to Etowah Indian Mounds in Georgia.
Indian Mounds are a Native American site. History dating back hundreds of years. A glimpse into a incredible time period in history. Today the mounds are covered with green grass. The huge mounds are elevated with a sense of mystery. Tourist are able to reminiscence and experience a walk through the Indian Mound. There is a museum that illustrates the traditions of Native American culture. Reflecting on daily survival skills that allowed this culture to make progress. Historical mounds were used for burials. The history of the mounds are explained in the museum. A wonderful experience for a day outing. This a great educational field trip to learn about Native American history. The mounds are located off of highway 75 in Georgia.
