I just got back from Hawaii a few days ago and i stayed in Oahu. I was there living with my great Aunt and Uncle for 2 and a half weeks. I had a lot of fun. My mom got these “Go Oahu” cards that allows you to do any of the list of things for free once you pay a base fee for the card. This made it so we could do a lot of really fun things and also save money while doing it. There are some things that you have to do in Hawaii that are really fun. The first thing that you have to do is go surfing. If you have never surfed before then I suggest that you take surfing lessons or else you will not know what to do. The second thing that you should make sure you do is snorkeling. Haunama bay is on the eastern side of the island and it is voted one of the best snorkeling spots in the world. It is really fun and you see a great variety of fish and coral. When you are in Hawaii, you should also go to a luau, it is good to see the culture of the people and try all the different food. While i was there, I went to the Polynesian Cultural Center and i learned about the 7 Polynesian cultures and had fun learning about them and their ways of life. I had fun attending the shows and the night show was really good. The whole center is made up of college students and when you attend the culture center you help pay for their college tuition. The beaches in Hawaii are a must, especially if you need to work on that tan of yours (you don’t want to come back from Hawaii without a tan.) I did a lot of things in Hawaii and always had fun and i think you would too. Just do a lot of things and learn the culture.
