When I moved back home with my mother I noticed the road less than 1/2 a mile was cracked really bad. So of course I started asking my mom about it. She had told me that the state would not do anything to fix it, but patch it up time after time. Well about a month went by and we got hit with a bunch of thunder storms and lots of rain. I woke up the next morning and I had to go to town, when I got to that one point what I saw was surprising the road was half way gone. Finally after there was only one side of the road left that is when the state started to do something about it. What I am wondering now is when the state goes to fix our road how are they going to get everyone to be able to get off the mountain. We have children that have to go to school, parents that have to go to work, and people with everyday life going to get by? 5 news and 40/29 news cast has been out here to do stories on the problem and listen to everyone act concerned, but how come no one is really doing the best they can on the issue at hand.
