It is the most northern of the New England states. The area is rich in history and rare natural beauty. There is only one destination that stand out Mount Desert Island.

The island is not only surrounded ocean waters and edged with craggy cliffs, secluded coves and vibrant harbor towns, but it is also home to Acadia National Park, one of jewels of the National Park system.

The wealthy gilded age vacationers who turned Mount Desert into a seaside resort in the late 19th century were also dedicated to maintaining the rustic beau

Could not agree with you more! Been to Acadia many times and like climbing the Bee Hive. Maine has great waterfalls too!

Looks absolutely gorgeous, has me aching for a vacation.

it’s a beautiful area. My sister had a vacation planned there when her home was flooded. Instead she is tearing out and rebuilding.
