I recently visited The Butterfly Palace and Rainforest Experience in Branson, MO. The adventure began  with 3-D film about butterflies that brought new insight to the life of a butterfly. Next, it was time to visit the botantical gardens where 1,000s of butterflies were all around us. Full of tropical plants and flowers that the butterflies seem to enjoy there are many photo opportunities inside the gardens. But you have to be quick, it seems as if some were camera shy as just when I got ready to take a photo they would take flight and way they went. 

If you visit during the Christmas season you will find the garden full of White Butterflies that flitter around like falling snowflakes.

After visiting the gardens and seeing the butterflies I ventured into the “Emerald Forest Mirror Maze”. With twists and turns amid the mirrors. It was a good thing my hubby was with me or I might still be there trying to find my way out. Seems as if the kids were so much better maneuvering it than I was guess. Maybe that’s why my hubby found our way out as he is still a kid at heart.

You will also want to visit the Butterfly Palaces’ “Incredible Insect Zoo” with lots of crawly things some I deemed creepy as the spiders and others not as the multi colored tree frogs.
