My experience goes back ten years ago when after a messy divorce i made my way over and stayed in the Luxor hotel. It was for me a trip of a lifetime and I have been going back every year since. I arrived by car through the desert at night when the city is at it’s best. I gambled and watched shows and ate in all the best restaurants and paid for every single thing. Unbeknown to me this could have been oh so different. My next visit I decided somewhere different and went for one of the best hotels the Bellagio…wow is all i can say. Still paid for everything no comps or freebies. Third time lucky i guess because the penny finally dropped and I was welcomed into the wonderful world of comps. Oh what joy not to pay for anything it was like all my Christmas’s had come at once.
On this particular visit I was accompanied by a few friends and after doing a tour of America our final stop was at The Alladin now called Planet Hollywood. I told my friends they would see very little of me as i would be gambling a good proportion of the time, but do not let this put you off as you do not need to gamble lots to obtain the comps. After a few hours of playing the slots i was visited by a casino host who wanted to sign me up for there loyalty card. I had nothing to lose so did as she wished. There my story begins and i will give you a list of things to do before you leave.
Before you go to Las Vegas what ever you do never pay for your room upfront, because when you gamble you earn comps and at the end of your stay according to your rating there can be a considerable reduction if not a free stay. They may even offer you a free visit next time you decide to take a trip. This is nothing special they do it for everyone. If you have a special celebration always let the Las Vegas hotelhttp://trifter.com/usa-canada/nevada/how-to-save-money-traveling-in-vegas/ know in advance as they may offer you a free upgrade. Weather they do or don’t when checking in for your Las vegas break always ask again as sometimes it pays to be cheeky. Plus if you don’t ask you will not get.
First thing you do on arrival is sign up for your players card. Every Las Vegas hotel has one of these and bingo you have your first freebie. It may be free slot play, or a free buffet, or even a free mug and t-shirt. Who cares it’s free. then according to how long you play and by the way it doesn’t matter how much you lose as everything is calculated on turnover which means if you put $20 in a slot and play for half hour you could have turned over $300 dollars or more especially if you are having a good run.
Maybe you would like to take in some shows, if so ask for any comps on offer at the sales desk. There are always free tickets available somewhere and if you are lucky enough to bag yourself a casino host she will tell you what you have earned in comps and whats on offer. All food and drink should be credited to your room within the hotel do not pay for anything as this is one of the best forms of comps. Playing the cent slots can get you free drinks…how? All gamblers in any hotel have free drinks so sit down put a dollar in and order a drink from your nearest cocktail waitress all free.
Along the las Vegas strip you will find touts giving out tickets for free comedy shows and free slot playhttp://trifter.com/usa-canada/nevada/free-things-to-do-in-las-vegas/ to get you into there casinos. Make the most of everything that is thrown your way and go running home with all your goodies. You will find lots of attractions within the las vegas hotels that are free and spectacular.
Try to book your hotel direct as huge savings can be made on and off the strip. You would be hard pushed to find a bad hotel in this amazing
