Free – around Charlotte, as well as a few things that might cost a penny or two.
Charlotte – what a city!
The Mint Museum of Crafts in Uptown Charlotte, located on North Tryon Avenue, is free on Tuesdays, before 2 pm. It’s located near the main branch of the Public Library, which is also free.
Chick-Fil-A is offering a free meal to folks on July 10th, if they show up in a cow costume. Those who show up wearing a bit of a cow suit will receive a free Chik-Fil-A sandwich – yum!
Every Thursday night, at University City, there is a free concert at the Shoppes.
A worthy thing to do is to purchase a light rail pass for $3.00 – it is fun to travel around Charlotte via the light rail system, also a great way to get to know the city.
Day passes for the bus and rail system can be purchased for $4.50!
