Oregon Tulips

by Goodselfme on 02/06/09 at 5:14 am

Even though some of the tulips are not out fully, the wonder of this sight is a must see.

It had just rained so the mud was a deterrent for many to come on opening day at the tulip farm. The Spring warmth has begun to help these spring flowers to blossom.

Tulips have a slight fragrance, however their beauty goes beyond lovely. Just looking at the pistils and the outer petals can absolutely mesmerize you for a moment or so. The large, pointed leaves add so much to each tulip. Petals can be smooth, lacey or layered too.

The charge to enter the Woodburn Tulip Farm is $5 per car. You are welcome to stay all day long and enjoy the many eateries they offer close by too.

If the pictures are beautiful, I can only guess how breathtaking this place must be in person! :) I would definitely pay $5.00 to enter the tulip farm but my husband may want to spend more time at the local eateries!! Ha ha.
