Snow Capped Shoreline

Oregon coastal areas are not known for snow. You are privvy to unusual pictures taken by me, Roberta Baxter.

In the foreground, you can see where the April winds have brought the Pacific Ocean inland to form a pool. The brisk breezes seem to continually change, not only the pooled water, but the great body of water from which it came. Moment to moment, the swirling can indulge you to view a very different wave sight. One can sit for hours taking in the beauty of it all.
The background shows the snow capped mountains that are generally not dipped in the white stuff.
The Pacific Ocean is furious with many layers of white water for a pleasurable sight as well.
Even the seagull is flying after the storm settled. They are such interesting birds.

Oh, the seagulls! I like them a lot but the reality is that they are a little pathetic and not proud at all. Arguing all time for their meal

Is there any place you haven’t been? I crash landed in St. Louis once during a snow storm. Does that count?

Beautiful pictures! Your article made the ocean feel very much alive here! Now…what is the Sea Gypsy in the right part of the picture? I thought it might be a seafood place that is opened for business during the summer months..perhaps selling fried clams with big bellies?

Sea Gypsy in the photo is a condo/motel residence. there are lots of seafood places along the Ocean highway 101 with lots of super dishes.
