There is a wonderful exhibit right now in Philadelphia, Pathat is going on until May 3 2009.  It is about African American history with some amazing and sad artifacts. There is a way to get there if you cannot attend in person.

Go to www.americaiam.org This is the website. It is a fabulous website. You can tour the exhibits there a box and feel like you are there. There is a an introduction by Travis Smiley who just recently wrote the book Accountable if you need a read.  In addition there are quotes from civil rights activists poets and jazz musicians. This site will not let you down like we did to so many people of color. it is a good start at redemption.
