     Ever wondered what the Badlands look like at sunset in the spring?

     Here is a photo that I took while vacationing in South Dakota. I love the different textures and rock formations in this photo. The lighting from the sunset reflected the features of the Badlands just perfect. This photo was taken at the viewer’s area just as one would enter the Badlands from Wall, SD.

     Visiting the Badlands while in South Dakota, is a good idea for any traveler. But do make sure that you capture the moment on film or on your digital camera, because a picture is what you will have years from now when the memory fades. If photography is one of your favorite hobbies, then try for a photo during the sunrise or sunset when the natural lighting adds a distinct visual presentation.
