         Amazing and beautiful, waterfalls fascinate everyone. The state of Oregon has hundreds of lovely waterfalls, more than any other state in the United States. With all of Oregon’s mountains and the rainfall that it receives, it makes Oregon the perfect place for waterfalls. Here are just some of the magnificent waterfalls of this wonderful state.

In Oregon there are 77 amazing waterfalls in the Columbia River Gorge Area. The photo above is Bridal Veil Falls, it is a tiered waterfall. Many other types of waterfalls can be found in this gorge.

In Oregon there are 19 beautiful waterfalls in the Northern Coast Range. The photo above is Youngs River Falls, which was discovered in March 1806 by the Lewis and Clark expedition.

In Oregon there are 51 wonderful waterfalls in the North Cascades Region. The photo above is Sahalie Falls which is about a 100 foot falls. It is a fairly easy hike to get to see this magnificent waterfall.

In Oregon there are 78 gorgeous waterfalls in the South Cascades. The photo above is Proxy Falls, it is absolutely dazzling. It is very big, about 200 feet high. It is an awesome waterfall.

In Oregon there are 24 lovely waterfalls in the Eastern Region. The photo above is Bridge Creek Falls, it is outstanding. It sits in a narrow gorge.

In Oregon there are 27 pretty waterfalls in the Southern Coast Range. The photo above is Starvation Creek Falls. It is massive, it is 186 feet high. It is very easy to hike to, you can get up-close to view this impressive waterfall.
