About a town with great fishing, good hunting, and a amazing festival.
In the top part of West Tennessee is a place called Lake County. Around 8,000 live in the county. It has a great lake called Reelfoot Lake. Fishermen from all over visit Reelfoot Lake. You can also fish on the Mississippi River. There are plenty of guides who are willing to take you for a great day of duck hunting. Lake County is also home to the Arts & Crafts Festival. Hundreds of vendors come all around to make money. People from Lake, Dyer, Obion, Gibson, Tipton, Shelby, etc… visit this great festival. It starts the fist weekend of October. Lake County is home to Lake Isom National Wildlife Refuge and Reelfoot National Wildlife Refuge. On Reelfoot Lake you can take Scenic boat cruises and watch eagles.
