The greatest and most amazing places in America.
O say have you seen the amazing places America has to offer? From urban places to wide open spaces, there is an almost infinite store of amazing things in America. But the question is, where and what is all of it? That’s what we’re going to find out! I’ll show you the ten most amazing places that our country has ever seen.

10. Devil’s Tower
-Devil’s tower is a very strange marvel of nature that has mystified many people since it was discovered. Formed like a giant tower of rock, the formation rises 1, 280 feet from its base to a total of 5,117 feet above sea level. 9. Hawaiian Volcanoes
-The Hawaiian volcanoes are a marvel of nature. Located on the biggest island of the chain, Hawaii, the volcanoes are only somewhat active; the last eruption was in the early 1900’s. However, there are still many steams of lava that flow across the island and many instances where poisonous gases from craters can render places inhabitable for short periods of time. 8. The Golden Gate Bridge
-The Golden Gate Bridge is definitely one of the biggest engineering acts our country has seen. Stretching for a total of 8,981 feet (2,737 m) across the opening of San Francisco Bay, the bridge is both an attraction and a way of travel. 7. Mount Rushmore
-Located in the Black Hills of South Dakota, Mount Rushmore is a huge carving of four of our most famous presidents. It was made by hundreds of men and but designed by Gutzon Borglum. 6. The Statue of Liberty
-Given as a gift from France to America, the Statue of Liberty has stood as a symbol of hope and freedom to both Americans and immigrants alike. located at the entrance of New York Bay, facing out towards the ocean, The Statue of Liberty is a 151 foot (46 meter) tall statue of a woman holding a torch above her head. 5. The Badlands
-Out in the wide open spaces of South Dakota lies a landmark the likes of which has rarely been seen anywhere else in the world. The rock formations of the Badlands are unique in comparison to even the strangest things. 4. Cape Canaveral and the Kennedy Space Center
-These two places are home to some of the greatest technological advances that the world has ever seen. Most importantly, the rocket. It was from here that the rocket was launched to put the first man on the moon and to send many more people and expeditions into space. The Kennedy Space Center is also a place for people from around the country and world to come and learn about space exploration and science. 3. New York City
-Being the largest city in the country, New York is definitely known for its loud noises, rushing cars, traffic jams and other such things associated with large cities; but that is also partly why it is so important. New York, also known as the Big Apple, is the center for American urban life. Some of the amazing landmarks here are the Empire State Building, The Rockefeller Center, and Century Park. 2. The Grand Canyon
-Located in Arizona, the Grand Canyon and the National Park that surrounds it simply overwhelm the mind with their gargantuan size of 277 river miles (446km) long, up to 18 miles (29km) wide, and a MILE (1.6km) deep. 1. The National Mall and Memorial Parks
-The National Mall and Memorial Park is the pinnacle of American landmarks, people, and events. located in our nation’s capital, Washington DC, the mall is the home to about 7 different monuments. these include monuments to some great presidents such as George Washington and Franklin Roosevelt.
