This lesson will see what you have learned and allow you to write your own weather forecast.

Now it is time to put everything you have learned together and predict the weather. In this first image here we are going to be looking at the Weather at Station A Currenly which is on the left side. On the right side you need to fill in the information.

Now for your second scenario you are dealing with High pressure. What type of forecast are you going to have at Station A. Remember the left side is the current condtions you are trying to figure out the right side.

This third example is going to give you a small taste of forecasting for Tropical Weather. On the right side you need to figure out what is going to happen.

This forecast you are going to be dealing with an occluded front coming into your station. Good Luck!! Remember the left side is current condtions and the right side is what you are trying to figure out.

Here is one more forecast scenario. On the left you have the current condtions and on the right you need to forecast what is going to happen with the weather.

Here you will find a basic guide to how watches and warnings are issued via the NWS. These are just a few of the basic watches and warnings. When you visit their website you will find many other types of watches and warnings that are also used.

The following slide shares with you some great steps to put forward when begining your new journey in the weather world. It is important to create some sort of guide for yourself before you start working in this type of job as a weather job is joked about only having to be right 50% of the time, however many things evolve around weather forecast and can be the difference in a lot of money lost or gained by having the right weather forecast wrote.

For the next image above you are going to write a personal weather forecast for your area. You will put in there the weather condtions such as the cloud cover, rain, snow or whatever you think is going to happen in your area. Next, you will need to add the max and min temps to your forecast, thirdly you are going to want to put the winds on there. Example would be like this Partly Cloudy skies a high temp of 77F and a low near 50F. Winds will be Northwest at 5-10mph. This is just to get you familar with a weather forecast. When you start working somewhere they will have guildlines on what they want you to do.

This slide provides you with some valuable information on different weather models that forecasters use to determine the weather patterns. Also I have included how each one can benefit your forecasting skills. Best of luck on your weather forecasting adventures.
